Getting Things all worked out!!!
This week has been one that seems like I've got most of the wrinkles out of my game plan. I've got a lot going on and I've been stressed out because of it. Here let me list them: To finish my application to OHSU PA program I need to take the GRE, I finally got the go a head to sign up just in time for the November deadline. In the mean time I've been studying for it at Kaplan. So I'll be study intensely for that these next two weeks. Also I've got everything sorted out at PSU. Although I've graduate with my Bachelor degree last summer, I've decided to finish the rest of my pre-requisites sets for medical school. Which is Physics series, Genetics, and Cell Biology courses. What I didn't know was that I had to sign a couple of forms to get back into PSU, oh plus $50, so that I could be a post-baccalaureate student. Good news is that I'll be able to get financial aide to pay for the tuition. I'll probably find out how much in a week or two. But I'll tell you having to get everthing worked out from the Registers office, Financial aid office, FAFSA, and having enough credits to even get aide has been a headache. Needless to say I got that everything situated with that. Since I'm taking Physics I've been studying for that. A lot of equations and math, so much fun!!! and I had my first test this week too!!
Also I've applied for a new job at the Hospital. I'd be working on the child/adolescence phyc unit . This would be a great pay increase and give me new experiences too. I've called the Unit Manager a few times this week so that he's aware that I really want the job. Hopefully next week I'll know more about the job. But if I don't get it, I'm going to look at research jobs at OHSU.
So I still feel like things are still kinda chaotic, but I feel like things are coming together and that my game plan is forming. I'm looking forward to things to settle even more, but untill then I'm staying optimistic for the best.
